The Wingman Access Fund

I know that creative careers can be unpredictable, and sometimes circumstances outside our control can make accessing the right support difficult.

The Wingman Access Fund offers a limited number of reduced-rate coaching spaces for performers experiencing genuine financial difficulty due to unexpected circumstances, loss of income or significant career disruption.

These spaces are intended for performers who are committed to their professional development but are temporarily unable to access the standard coaching investment.

Places are limited and offered on a case-by-case basis.

🎓 Hey 2026 Grads — I See You

I’ve been through the process and I know how you might be feeling.

That strange mix of freedom, excitement and hope — followed by the sudden realisation that the structure you’ve relied on for years has disappeared.

No more classes.
No more tutors checking in.
No more built-in feedback.
No one telling you what to work on next.

Just you.

Your ambition.
Your talent.
And a lot of uncertainty.

You’ve spent years preparing for this moment — training, learning, growing — and then suddenly you’re expected to navigate the reality of a creative career with very little guidance.

Maybe you’ve already secured representation or your first opportunities — congratulations.

Maybe you’re still waiting for that first breakthrough — that’s okay too.

Wherever you are right now, I want you to know this:

You are not behind. You are not failing. And you are not alone.

The transition from training into the industry is one of the biggest adjustments a performer faces.

The reality is that this industry is unpredictable. Work is not guaranteed. Rejection is part of the process. Progress can feel slower than you imagined.

But that doesn’t mean you are powerless.

The performers who build lasting careers are not just the ones with talent. They are the ones who develop the mindset, habits, systems and resilience needed to navigate the reality of the industry.

The first few years matter.

Building strong foundations early can help you make better decisions, protect your creativity, manage the uncertainty and create a career approach that is sustainable for the long term.

That’s why I created From Grad to Pro.

A graduate-focused coaching programme designed to help you make the transition from training into professional life with greater clarity, confidence and direction.

Together, we’ll work on:

  • understanding who you are as a performer;

  • building your professional foundations;

  • creating a realistic career strategy;

  • developing habits and systems that support you;

  • navigating the personal and practical realities of creative life.

If you’re ready to approach this next chapter with more structure, more confidence and someone in your corner — I’d love to help.

Your Creative Wingman,
Jamie

Meet your Coach

Hi, I'm Jamie.

I'm an actor and founder of Your Creative Wingman.

I've been building a career in this industry for over a decade and, honestly, I still feel incredibly lucky to call it my job. I've worked with organisations including the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Cirque Du Soleil and Welsh National Theatre, performed in the West End, toured internationally, appeared in feature films, produced my own work, performed stand-up comedy and even packed up my life to move to Los Angeles to see what was possible. I've experienced incredible opportunities, career-defining moments and unforgettable collaborations.

I've also experienced rejection, uncertainty, financial pressure, visa challenges, anxiety, heartbreak and the moments where I've wondered, "Am I doing the right thing?". But through every stage, one thing has remained constant. I keep choosing this life. Not because it's easy. Because I genuinely believe a creative life is one of the richest lives you can live. We get to tell stories. We get to make people laugh, cry and think. Great art can change the world. We meet extraordinary people. We travel. We keep learning. How lucky are we?

The problem is that nobody really teaches us how to live this life. Drama school teaches us how to perform. It doesn't always teach us how to navigate rejection. How to cope when work dries up. How to build routines when no one is telling you what to do. How to look after your mental health. How to create opportunities instead of waiting for them. Or how to build a life that feels fulfilling whether you're in rehearsal or between jobs. I've had to learn a lot of that myself. Sometimes the hard way. I’ve been knocked down and picked myself back up more times than I can recall. You have to get good at bouncing back - and quick. It’s not a natural skill and one that needs to be learnt, practiced and refined.

That's why I became a qualified coach through the Jay Shetty Certification School and created Your Creative Wingman. Because I wanted to be the person I wish I'd had. Someone in your corner. Someone who understands both the dream and the reality. Someone who'll celebrate the wins, help you through the knock-backs and remind you why you chose this life in the first place. Because I don't think the goal is simply to have a successful career. I think it's to build a creative life that you genuinely enjoy living.

And I'd love to help you do that.

Jamie
